Women in Big Data (WiBD) brings to you a panel of local women leaders in the field of Data Science. Join us to learn what it takes to grow from an individual contributor to leading and managing multiple data science teams. Each of our leaders have carved their own journeys through this shifting landscape as the field of Data Science has matured in the last few years.
In this session we will cover topics around what they look for when staffing their team with stellar data scientists, career as an individual contributor, things to know before growing into leaders of teams, etc. We aim to have an interactive discussion peppered with anecdotes from their own journeys in this field.
