The gender gap in tech careers continues being a challenge despite all the attention paid to this topic. Only 18% of Computer Science degrees go to women and only 12% of engineers are female. With the explosive growth in the field of Big Data and Data Science, the opportunity is ripe to reverse this trend.
BDSS, in collaboration with WiBD (Women in Big Data, Boston Chapter) is putting together a lively panel of local women leaders in the field. Attendees can expect to learn from their journeys and challenges they faced in building and managing data science teams while cutting through stereotypes.
